Developing High-Performance Reinforcement Fabrics
We manufacture a wide range of woven reinforcement materials, including fiberglass, carbon, aramid, basalt, and hybrid constructions. Our R&D efforts focus on improving fabric performance across key factors such as strength, weight, stability, and compatibility with customer applications.
From woven roving and direct-size tapes to unidirectional and specialty products, we continuously evaluate how materials behave in different applications and environments to ensure consistent, high-quality performance.
Developing Manufacturing Solutions for Next-Generation Aerospace Materials
We are currently collaborating with a research and development organization that engineered a novel fabric intended for use in the aerospace industry. The initial concept was developed on a small-scale laboratory loom. Our role was to translate this design into a scalable production process capable of supporting larger manufacturing volumes, enabling the aircraft manufacturer to incorporate the material into potential design modifications.
To achieve this, we undertook significant process innovation, including redesigning loom programming and modifying machine functionality. In several areas, these advancements required us to develop solutions independently, as the loom manufacturer’s technical team had not previously encountered these requirements. After approximately one year of development, we successfully produced a prototype fabric that has now been tested by the aircraft manufacturer.

Our R&D process is closely tied to our manufacturing operations. By monitoring production performance and material behaviour in real time, we are able to refine processes, improve efficiency, and maintain consistent product quality.
